Thank you for your interest in volunteering with City Harvest!

Our dedicated group of more than 10,000 volunteers will help us rescue and distribute millions of pounds of food this year. We'd love to have you join the team. The first step? Sign up for an upcoming volunteer orientation! In this orientation, we'll share all the details about our projects, how to get involved, and what to expect. Attending an orientation will allow you to volunteer for our general projects and move forward in our Nutrition Education program.

Volunteer OrientationManhattanCity Harvest Office10/25/201706:00 PM07:00 PM11Attending an orientation is the first step to becoming a City Harvest volunteer! This orientation will cover everything you need to get started out in the field as one of our volunteers. We will discuss the history of City Harvest, details about how we rescue and deliver millions of pounds of food a year, and information about all of our volunteer projects.

Following this orientation, you will be ready to volunteer for any of our general projects including (but not limited to!) Mobile Markets, Office Projects, and Food Rescues. To continue on in our Nutrition Education programs, you will need to attend a follow up training session. Once you've attended an orientation, we'll work with you to coordinate a training date.
